Return Guidelines

While we acknowledge that not every item may meet your expectations, we kindly request that you be mindful of your selections before completing your purchase. We do not expect all ordered items to fit perfectly, but we encourage you to make thoughtful decisions and buy only the pieces you genuinely plan to incorporate into your wardrobe.

Returns Process

30-Day Return/Refund Policy

 Item(s) should be reported for return within 15 days from the confirmed delivery date.

IMPORTANT NOTICE:  Please take note that we do not accept refunds for items purchased from our OUTLET or items that were MADE TO ORDER. 

Return Shipping 

It is the buyer's responsibility to cover the costs of return shipping. Our headquarters, located in the Netherlands, will typically handle the processing of returns. However, we will only accept return shipments that come with a Track and Trace label. Please ensure that you send the Track and Trace number to Simple Moderne as soon as the transport has been arranged.


Once we have received and inspected the returned items, your refund will be processed. We always refund the original method of payment used during the purchase. The refund will appear in your account within 2-7 business days, depending on your bank's processing times.

Defected/Wrong Items:

We take great care in controlling our manufacturing, packing, and shipping processes. However, if you happen to receive a defective or incorrect item, we are more than willing to take full responsibility and send you a replacement. To help us with the assessment and handling of your request, we kindly request that you provide photographic evidence and a detailed description of the issue, along with your return form. Rest assured that we will do our best to address your concerns promptly and appropriately.

Order Cancellation:

You may cancel your order within 12 hours of the transaction processing time. However, if the items have already been handed over for transport, cancellation is no longer possible. If your cancellation request is approved, a 10% transaction cost will be deducted from the return amount.

Outlet Items: Our Commitment to Sustainability

At Simple Moderne, our outlet section is a unique space where fashion meets sustainability. We offer these items at the lowest possible prices, often below wholesale, as a commitment to recycling and giving each piece a chance to find a new home.

To maintain these incredibly low prices, we regretfully cannot accept returns for outlet items. This policy ensures that we can continue offering you unbeatable deals while promoting a more sustainable approach to fashion.

Every outlet item is clearly marked on our website, and by purchasing from this section, you agree to our terms and conditions, including the non-return/refund policy. We appreciate your understanding and support in our journey towards a more eco-conscious and affordable fashion future.


If you want to report an item within 15 days of receiving it, make sure it meets these conditions:

- It must be in its original condition.
- It must not have been washed or worn.
- It must be in the original packaging.


We cannot take in items that have been:
• Worn or washed
• Covered in animal hair
• Altered from their original state (ironed, tailored, sewn)
• Smelling of perfume or detergents
• Damaged after delivery
• Not reported within 15 days after delivery
• Without their original tags and packaging.


Please note that our team is carefully inspecting every returned item to determine if it meets our return conditions and if it can be relisted for sale. In rare cases where an item does not meet our return conditions, the customer will be given the option to receive the item back or have it recycled. If the customer chooses to have the item shipped back to them, they will be asked to purchase a new shipping label.
